Meridian Grooming: Bare, Buzz, Bush

Following a rebrand where Meridian pivoted from being a men’s ‘down there’ grooming product to a radically inclusive gender-neutral personal care brand, Meridian looked to Diffusion PR to cement its new positioning, grow share of voice and attract new retail partners.  

Insight & Idea

To ladder up to the brand’s new inclusivity positioning, Diffusion activated an integrated marketing campaign called Bare, Buzz, Bush, to drive awareness and affinity with new target audiences. The campaign included multiple events in LA and NYC and engaged influencers from both an earned and paid capacity to empower individuals to rock their body hair freely.

Impact & Action

Through participation in key events like the Swim + Resort fashion show (NYC) and Glossy BeautyPop (LA), Meridian attracted new brand fans including top-tier influencers like Chriselle Lim, Whitney Port, Vanessa Hudgens, Michelle Phan, Ashley Tisdale and more. The campaign also fostered affinity with fashion and lifestyle media like InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Refinery 29, TODAY, Allure, Forbes, Women’s Health, and many more. The awareness-driving campaigns supported the brand’s debut in Target stores nationwide, in both the female and men’s shaving aisles.
