Global living specialists, Scape, is defining a new way to live with the launch of the first property in its expansion concept, Living by Scape. Diffusion will be handling the PR to support Scape’s expansion strategy into mainstream living as it takes its living concept to a wider market beyond student accommodation, providing quality accommodation to city dwellers.

As a global operator of PBSA that started in the UK in 2008, Scape now has properties located around the world in leading academic cities, providing an inspirational place for people to live. The success of the current Scape student offering has led to the demand for a similar high-quality city and community-based living proposition for city dwellers who are currently faced with the choice between location or quality of accommodation to live in prime city centre locations.

Living by Scape will feature design-led properties with everything that residents need to feel at home. Thoughtfully designed and created in collaboration with residents, Living by Scape puts personal space first whilst providing access to a variety of shared social spaces. Features include a state-of-the-art fitness studio, cinema room, family-style kitchen, co-working spaces and communal areas to relax in. Rooms come fully furnished and with little touches like Sonos speakers and a Patch plant as standard. Once settled, they can take advantage of a range of services including regular fresh grocery deliveries, housekeeping and access to a personal trainer.

The first property will launch in the heart of Guildford, less than an hour from central London, and will open its doors this summer.

Tom Ward, CEO and co-founder, Scape said: “Located within easy reach of the hustle and bustle of Central London, yet close to the beautiful Surrey countryside, Guildford is the ideal location to launch the first property of our new Living by Scape concept. We want to make living as easy and hassle-free as possible for the resident, whether that’s through inclusive pricing, facilities on their doorstep, or the many added extras we provide.

We couldn’t be more delighted to be launching our first Living by Scape in Guildford. All Scape properties are located in and close to urban-cities to offer a comfortable and well-designed space that caters to the lives of those that make the city tick.”

Natasha Cobain, Director and Head of Consumer at Diffusion commented: “We are excited to be expanding our working relationship with Scape to support both its Student and, now, Living propositions. Scape is transforming the way in which people live in urban environments, creating homes for those who make the city tick. At Diffusion we have deep experience working with brands that want to challenge the status quo and strive to disrupt the market. The last 12 months has undoubtedly changed the way in which people want to live and work, and cities need to adapt to a new style of urban living.  Scape has created a new proposition to tap into this change in consumer behaviour, combining high spec studios with in-demand facilities such as co-working zones, and fitness studios all under one roof.  We’re thrilled to be working with Scape to amplify their expansion strategy as they take their unique way of living to a broader city dweller audience”.
