Diffusion continues support for 10,000 Black Interns into 2023

10,000 Black Interns was founded to open doors and provide opportunities for bright young talent across the country. Last summer we partnered with the programme and welcomed two interns to our London office, and we’re excited to be supporting the initiative again in 2023.

As a proud supporter of 10,000 Black Interns, Diffusion’s internship programme ran over the summer of 2022 and provided training for interns into all areas of PR – from traditional media relations to social and digital tactics. The two talented interns worked closely with our team and got fully integrated into agency life, which involved learning all about the UK media landscape, developing pitches for media, learning about different forms of writing used in PR, joining in with agency brainstorms and working on social media content calendars – to name just a few things!

Both interns showed a real appetite and curiosity for learning about PR, and we loved having them in the office where they made a real impact on day-to-day agency life.

We firmly believe in the important work that 10,000 Black Interns is doing to address the issue of underrepresented talent in the UK and look forward to continuing our support for the initiative in 2023 through two more paid internships.  To find out more about 10,000 Black Interns, please visit the website here.
