Diffusion confirmed finalist for three industry awards


We’re extremely excited to share that the Diffusion team has been named as a finalist for not one, not two, but three PRmoment Awards  for our work with the wonderful parcelLab!  Our Parcel Patience campaign has resulted in us making the shortlist in 3 categories  – Best Use of Research, Best Use of Measurement & Evaluation in a campaign and finally for the Innovation in Public Relations Award.

parcelLab is growing at an impressive rate of knots and is open to really creative and thought provoking campaigns to grow awareness of its important proposition for the retail sector.

The solution they offer responds to the following challenge in the ecommerce industry: as soon as a purchase is made, a black hole moment for both consumer and retailer begins. The retailer hands the sale to a third-party delivery provider and loses control of their customer engagement, data, and experience. In tandem, the consumer’s dialogue with the retailer stops. Solving this problem, parcelLab has introduced the category of ‘Operations Experience Management’ which enables retailers to provide direct and personalised communications with consumers about deliveries and returns.

Diffusion’s Parcel Patience campaign not only highlighted to parcelLab’s audience the concern consumers post purchase have when ordering online, but also complemented this with an in-depth audit of UK’s top 50 direct to consumer (DTC) brands performance at each stage of the order process.

The creativity and assiduity to conduct a holistic in-depth analysis produced unparalleled insight that was evidently uniquely valuable for the media and the retail industry alike – it also secured a company with previously little media presence coverage in national and broadcast outlets as well as hitting impressive demand-gen focused goals, directly engaging parcelLab with new prospective clients, introducing them to Operations Experience Management.
