What’s driving consumer shopping habits in 2023?
Not too long ago, it seemed like all we could talk about was the DTC boom and how fun, fresh brands like Warby Parker and Away were the arbiters of cool. While the warning signs have been there over the past couple of years as the shine of DTC was beginning to wane, Diffusion’s annual Direct-to-Consumer Purchase Intent Index shows that there still is a glimmer of hope and clear opportunity spots for our favorite DTC brands. For the fifth year in a row, Diffusion has commissioned YouGov to explore the state of consumer purchase intent as it relates to traditional and DTC retailers to look ahead into a future fueled by ever-changing shopper expectations.
