Our industry peers at PRSA-NY gathered to honor the Diffusion team’s work in executing valuable campaigns for our clients, awarding Diffusion not one, but FOUR Big Apple Awards for our work with Raymour & Flanigan, alliantgroup, Burrow, and Informa Pharma Intelligence.
Ahead of the unprecedented 2020 holiday season, Diffusion, together with furniture giant, Raymour & Flanigan, launched a creative campaign to bring some much-needed holiday cheer to Raymour & Flanigan customers across the Northeast. The campaign engaged Raymour & Flanigan team members to make furniture deliveries as real-life elves, which garnered more than 772 million earned media and social impressions, with 44% of all press including 100% brand share of voice.
For alliantgroup, a tax and business consultancy, Diffusion’s tactics drove expansive coverage in alliantgroup’s key target categories of manufacturing, agriculture, and tech, across both trade and top tier publications. Diffusion successfully generated coverage on alliantgroup’s cybersecurity practice resulting from the original research report and won in the Business-to-Business Marketing category.
Diffusion, together with DTC furniture brand Burrow, won in the Marketing Consumer Products category – a well-deserved recognition after 2020 outreach led to a 156% increase in affiliate sales YoY, and a 242% increase in affiliate revenue. The 2020 PR program was so impactful for Burrow’s bottom line that Burrow averaged 3X its typical monthly sales, with a large part of the marketing mix solely driven by PR.
Diffusion and Informa Pharma Intelligence were recognized for their response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as Diffusion was able to position the company as the leading authority on data insights and market intelligence surrounding the pandemic, resulting in 117 total pieces of earned media coverage, generating a total reach of over 3 billion impressions.
To top off the evening, Diffusion’s US Managing Director, Kate Ryan, was awarded the 2021 Big Apple Awards President’s Award. Selected by the President of PRSA-NY, the award honors a member who exemplifies the highest standards of ethical conduct and outstanding service within the public relations profession and to PRSA and its New York chapter.
